Our 7 week post is a little late but we have taken plenty of pictures to document everything! I think I get a little carried away sometimes! This week his reflux has been much better since we started the Zantac. He is still only eating 3.5 ounces every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. He sometimes will eat 4 but rarely! At night he usually goes longer between feedings, usually about 4 hours instead of 2 1/2 to 3. He is awake a lot more during the day! He loves to lay on his back on our bed and play. He just looks around and smiles, it is so precious! His daddy is his playmate! He just lights up when Shon talks to him! 

Granna layed him in his crib for the first time this week. He loved it while we were all in there with him talking to him but once we left he started crying! Granna, Pop, Kenzie, Thad, and Tucker came over to visit and play with little man this week. He did really good while they were here. We also went to Nana and Papaws house this week. It was very nice outside so we all sat out by the pool and enjoyed the weather. Mack sat in his frog seat in the shade and slept most of the time. I think he enjoyed being outside. Shon's brother Justin's little girl Jaylee could not figure Mack out while we were there. It was so funny! He is just growing like a weed! Some days are better than others and some nights are just terrible but I know that it is all worth it. Easter is coming up! I cant wait to see all of our families. There are some of them who have never met little man, I just hope he is good! I know it will be a long day of visiting!

Once again we have been busy busy! We went to Chris and Rachel's to visit with Erah Kate and Jag. It was so much fun seeing all of our sweet babies finally here. Mack looks so big compared to the other two babies, especially Erah Kate, she only weighs 5'11 right now! Granna and Pop decided they would "adopt" Erah Kate as their granddaughter so they would have one of each! 

We dogsat Max this weekend. He used to be our dog but we gave him to Shon's dad and his wife before Mack got here. I wasn't sure how he would do with a new baby around. He actually did pretty good over the weekend though! You could tell he was confused! We have had him since college and he has always been spoiled rotten but since Mack was here and in my lap most of the time he would just look at me and whine like he was saying "thats my spot!" He did bark at the tv a couple times and wake Mack up but other than that he was good! I am glad that we gave him to GD and Mimi though I don't think I could have handled it!

Mack got to go to his first ball game this week too! Uncle Tucker had his first ball game of the season. It was a beautiful day out and he got to wear his new baseball shirt that Dad had bought him! 

We went to the doctor this week to ask about Silent Reflux! Dr. Chupp seems to think that is what is wrong with our sweet baby so we are now on prescription Zantac. We have only been taking it a few days so we will see if it starts working. So far it has, he is not gulping and screaming near as much as he was! 

We got our new MOBY WRAP! Mommy's friend Christy sent it to us! So far, on the first day, we are liking it! I was able to wash bottles and fold clothes with him snoozing away! 

Once again I feel so blessed every day to have such a sweet baby boy! He is growing too fast but I am enjoying every minute of it! More to come!

Wow, I cant believe my sweet baby will be 6 weeks old tomorrow. I couldn't wait to blog until tomorrow. So much has happened this week! Mack is getting so big! He is still drinking 3.5 ounces most feedings, sometime I can get him to drink 4 ounces but that is rare. He is sleeping ok at night, if he is in our bed right beside me. I feel bad for putting him in our bed and I know I shouldn't be but when he is having his colicky times at night and I finally get him to sleep after over an hour of crying its just not worth it to lay him in his bed. It is so much easier and better for both of us to get some sleep! If I lay him in his bed or frog seat he sleeps for about an hour or a little more..If he sleeps with me he sleeps for 4 hours or more! I do try to put him in his bed for at least a couple hours a night but the majority of the night he is in our bed. He is starting to smile on purpose now!!! I don't know if they are supposed to be smiling on purpose now but he is! Shon got him to do it first, he made a tooting sound with his mouth (when you stick your tongue out between your lips and blow). He smiled a huge sweet smile several times. Then he did it for me the next day so I know he was doing it on purpose! Every morning now we have a little play time when he wakes up! It is so precious!
I left the house for the first time without Mack or Shon this week. I went shopping and out to eat with my girlfriends, Lashaye Johnston (Aunt Shaye), Brittanee Johnson, and Andrea Kinney. We went to Huntsville and out to eat at Carabbas. I didn't get home until around 10:30! I was missing him terribly but I had a great time! Shon watched him the whole time I was gone. While I was gone Mack had his first blow out poopy diaper and Shon got to change it! haha He said it was all over his pants and everything, I thought this was so funny! He did a good job while I was gone! The next day Shon left early that morning to go to the Masters Golf Tournament with Blake Mozely. He has been wanting to go for years so he was very excited. He was gone for 2 full days, Mack and I missed him so much! He brought Mack back a little caddy teddy bear we named him Bogey!
We went to visit Shon's dad Terry, Granddad, at his house for the first time this week too. Shon's sister LaShaye and her kids were there and Shaye also brought Talya's little girl Amelia with her so we had all the cousins together for the first time. Of course we had to take pictures but its kind of hard with 4 little ones! :) Abram and Mack had on the same shirt, they were so cute!
We went to visit Papaw Curtis at his house this week as well. And Finally we got to meet Miss Erah Kate Reese! Our best friends had their baby girl on April 4th! We have had so many friends that have been expecting and Rachel was the last one that had not had her baby so we were so excited for them when she had her. Mack is going to have so many friends to play with! We are all so blessed!
