In his Woombie!

My little man is getting so big! At 3 months he weighs about 15 pounds already! He is doing new things every day. He is talking more and more and really watching everything we do. He is starting to follow us around the room with his eyes instead of us having to get right in front of him. He is still only drinking 4 ounces at a time and the time in between feedings just varies? Sometimes it could be 3 hours and then sometimes it could be 5, but when he is hungry he is hungry! He doesn’t have a small cry; he goes from nothing to screaming like he is just starving!  He still loves his bath time and has to have it between 7:00 and 8:00 every night or he gets really fussy! That is about the only thing we do that is really scheduled! He is really starting to like his toys! He is grabbing them now and actually holding onto them. He doesn’t hold them long and he always tries to get them to his mouth but he usually drops them before they get there.

He spent the night with my parents, Granna & Pop, one night and my mom said that she wrapped him in his blanket and he seemed to like it so I borrowed a woombie from a friend of mine to see how he would like it. When he was born he hated to be swaddled or wrapped up! But I tried it again and he actually liked it so I ordered him his own woombie and he is getting very used to it now. He usually falls asleep pretty quickly when I put it on and he is sleeping for about 7 hours at a time! I cannot get him to stay up late though! I would really like for him to stay up until about 11 and then have his night time bottle, but he is usually so sleepy around 8:45 that I just can’t keep him awake. So he goes to sleep around 8:45 and usually wakes up around 3 has a bottle and goes back to sleep until 6:00 or 6:30. This is a huge improvement compared to what we went through in the beginning! I don’t mind getting up that one time a night, especially since he goes right back to sleep.

He really likes to go to Pops store and play with Bet Bet and Diane! They just love him to death and give him so much attention that he just eats it up! I can already tell he is going to be spending a lot of time up there when he gets older!
