Second experience with the life jacket- A little better this time.

We had a great time at the lake on Memorial Day weekend! Mack did so good! We were a little worried about how he would do being outside all day but we were so proud! He loved the lake and all the people around! Shon and I pretty much brought the whole house to the lake so he would have plenty of things to do. We brought his play mat, his frog seat, his bumbo seat, an extra pack-n-play, his backpack with toys, his diaper bag, his swim bag, and a box fan! We looked so funny walking down to the boathouse with all that stuff but it was worth it! He played in his pack-n-play on his mat and he sat in his frog seat some. He had tons of attention from everybody there so he really liked that! He was just fine as long as the fan was on him and he was in the shade so he wasn’t getting too hot! The only thing he wasn’t crazy about was his life jacket! We kind of expected this since most babies don’t like them but it was really kind of funny! His life jacket is just way too big right now! The first time Shon and I took him on the boat was not that fun! He wasn’t screaming but I could just tell that he was pretty miserable! The second time was a little better, Shon didn’t have to drive the boat so he was able to hold him and Mack could feel the air better. He did better the second time but the ride still didn’t last very long. I think he would much rather be at the boathouse then on the boat! Overall it was a great weekend on the lake! I look forward to many many more with out Mack Attack!
