Mack Christopher Howard: Easter!

Ok, I am typing this into Microsoft word and I will eventually put all these into the blog. We have been without cable for a while now and I am going to be so behind if I don’t record all this somewhere!

I’m going to start out with Mack’s first Easter. A few days before Kim (Nana) and I went to the Gadsden Mall to get Mack’s picture made with the Easter Bunny! He actually did really well. There wasn’t a line to see the Easter Bunny so he was still in a good mood! He just looked at the Easter bunny like he was really trying to figure him out! It was precious! We walked around the mall for a while and by the time we left he was so sleepy! We laid him in the back of the car to change him and he just passed out asleep! It was so funny!

On Easter Sunday we got up and went to church with the family. Mack and I listened to the service in the hallway of the church because he wanted to be fussy! He looked adorable though in his big boy outfit! He wore khaki pants and a blue and white-stripped button up shirt! After church we went to Granna and Pops house for a little bit and then we headed to Leesburg to Memaw and Pewpaws. Everybody there was so ready to see little man, some for the first time ever! Well, things didn’t quite go as planned…he fell asleep on the way there so when we got there we just left him in his seat and put him upstairs so he could finish sleeping. He slept for about 2 hours so I thought when he woke up he would be in a great mood! Wrong! He woke up and cried for almost another 2 hours. Just when I had given up and was ready to just get in the car and go home Memaw said, “Well let me hold him before you go.” And when she did he went right to sleep. She said it was because she was so comfortable! He slept with her holding him for another hour. We just stayed then because she hadn’t gotten to spend any time with him. I was just glad he had calmed down! It was a long fussy day but it was still sweet because it was his first Easter. He ended up getting tons of gifts for Easter too! The Easter Bunny came to see him that morning plus Granna and Nana had gotten him things too! It looked like Christmas by the time we put all his new stuff together! This boy is so spoiled!
